Why We Need a Foundation
Great parks and swimming pools don't just happen! They take thought,
planning and lots of money to build. They also require a commitment
from park staff and the community to keep them looking great over
the years.
The South Whidbey community has always been very supportive of
its parks. Elective officials respect that support and have done
their best to keep our taxes low.
But sometimes, great parks need more than your tax dollars. Private
donations and the support of volunteers can help ensure their
success for years to come.
