Archery Club This archery club will cover the history of archery, proper shooting techniques, equipment selection and training. Most importantly, there will be plenty of hands-on fun! This course is designed to present the lifetime recreational activity of archery in a broad perspective for future use as a recreational and/or competitive pursuit. This is a great sport for all athletic abilities. Coach Glen Harris has been a professional archery coach for over 27 years and currently holds the highest level earned degree awarded to archery coaches by USA Archery. He has been head coach for 12 USA World Archery Teams, 3 USA Paralympic Archery Teams and countless training camps. Grades 4-5: Wed, May 7 - 28;

Summer Jump-Start This three-day camp is for the advanced beginner and above player who wants to jump-start his/her summer tennis game. Emphasis is on stroke development, strategy and match play. Kids under 12 may play with instructor permission. (8:1) Date: T/W/Th, July 1 - 3 |

Dodgeball Leagues Play the game as it was meant to be played - with you as the target! Our six-on-six dodgeball league is perfect for the off-season athlete. Whether you are just starting to play and learn the game or looking to go out and have fun, this is the game for you. We use special foam "gator" balls that are
specially designed for speed and accuracy and minimal risk of
injury. Each team will play seven matches (each match consists
of 3-5 games) over seven weeks. Each player will receive a
team jersey with their team name. Games will take place at the
Sports Complex on Langley Road. For general information about

High School Challenge This three-day camp is for intermediate to advanced players who are preparing for an upcoming high school season or who just want to improve their game. Special Olympics Tennis Join us as we introduce the Special Olympics
athlete to the exciting sport of tennis! We will start with
Skills Training to get you familiar with your equipment and the
tennis court. Each class will include warm-ups, movement
drills and cooperative games to encourage fun, friendships and
sportsmanship. The focus of Skills Training is determining
what our athletes can do with appropriate instruction and
encouragement. All equipment will be provided. All

GENERAL TENNIS INFORMATION All classes held at South Whidbey High School tennis courts. What to Bring: Please bring a tennis racquet, water bottle and wear appropriate tennis shoes. Loaner racquets available. Student/instructor ratio indicated in brackets. Inclement Weather: Make-up days will be arranged by individual instructors. Call 221-5484 after 8:00am if uncertain about the meeting of a class. INSTRUCTORS: Teresa Wheeler returns as our summer director of tennis. She has been teaching tennis to South Whidbey children and adults since the summer of 1990.
