Children's Day Festival
Saturday, September 23

READY, SET, GO!!!  Children’s Day is almost here and we would like to invite you to South Whidbey Community Park (5495 Maxwelton Rd, Langley) on Saturday, September 23rd 10AM-2PM for one of the biggest, friendliest, “familiest” celebrations on Whidbey Island.  There will be bounce houses, entertainment, 30+ exciting and interactive booths and even a free lunch!  All this will be provided to you at NO COST, courtesy of local organizations and businesses that support children and their families.  We hope to see you there!

Want to be a part of this event? Local businesses and organizations are welcome to join us, also free of charge. Read the requirements and submit the participation agreement by the deadline. Questions: Carrie (360 221-6788.

 

Turducken Trot

Sponsored by South Whidbey Parks & Aquatics Foundation, this event is a pool fundraiser. More information at: Facebook/WhidbeyTurduckenTrot. Fee includes T-Shirt, drinks and snacks after the run.

Polar Bear Dive

Start the new year off with a splash! Join a fun-loving crowd of nearly 200 jumpers for a bone chilling dive into 2018. WHY?! It’s fun. Seriously! Plus it benefits local youth programs. A New Year’s tradition since 2004. Registration opens at 10:30am.  Splash at noon. Swim at your own risk; no lifeguard on duty. Fee includes shirt (while supplies last - register in advance here), hot drinks, and festive atmosphere.

Chum Run - June 24, 2017



The South Whidbey community invites you to the 20th Annual Chum Run 5K.  Our friendly and enthusiastic community (with a great running tradition) makes the Chum Run one of the most enjoyable Northwest running events.  A short ferry ride from Mukilteo and you are instantly transported to the rural environment of South Whidbey Island.  After the race, you can have lunch and explore the nearby village of Langley.
